So here we plan for a trip. The same team that left to Goa once in 2003 with a plan to go to a fishing spot nearby Bangalore and finally ended up in Goa. The 2003 trip was an adventurous one for the reason that we had no plan. We just took the trains and buses that came on our way. But finally we made it, a memorable trip. Similar strategy should have been followed but we planned the spot well ahead, “Yercaud”. So me and my cousin in Bangalore call up other two cousins from Chennai to join us in Bangalore to start the trip.

So my cousin asks “What to see in Yercaud?” Damn my knowledge, I searched in google and made up something to say. All over I was thinking that Yercaud is only two hours from Bangalore or that was what I remembered my friends say. But not until we reached Krishnagiri did I realize that I have been considering Yercaud and Okkanekal synonymously. So here comes the fun when I saw that board. I told my cousin that actually I was meaning Okkanekal not Yercaud. I could see the surprise in Cousins’ faces. They are never gonnu trust me again with my plans 😉

Anyhow the plan is fixed and we drove to Yercaud. Anyhow I am not driving the Car 😉 So 20 kms and 21 Hairpin bends from Salem we made it Yercaud. Beautiful place it is, I had to say. No crowd and not many places to see. It seems that we have gone off season. I should mention the risk we were to take to see a falls, a dangerous path leading to it. I am not supposed to take risks as I am engaged, so we had a reason to return back 😉

And some funny named places to visit “Ladies Seat, Gents Seat and Children Seat”, We visited one of them and it was quite good. Throughout the trip we were enjoying something, Juicy Corn, Candid Photography (We carried two 18x Zooms) and Leg Pulling (each other).

Hours of enjoyment and we returned to where we belong, got to do some work 😉
