Early in the morning I travel back to Bangalore today. The Taxi driver rushes to the Airport for he is already 15 mins late. At the entrance I was blocked by CISF officers for their security checks. CISF has always annoyed me with their procedures in Airports and at process plants. I hate their unfriendly ways of handling and the way they waste my time. Recently my attitude on them and me changed with the Bangalore blasts. It reminded me of how me as a citizen provided importance to safety procedures and how it would affect the nation’s security. However I was still not convinced with their annoying way of handling these procedures. However today I answered them with a smile and in my heart I felt the need for them and was happy to be secure. Today there was a difference, the CISF officer handled the procedures very neatly. I thanked him and acknowledged him for responsibly carrying his duties on a national holiday. He thanked me back with a hearty smile, for it is rare to find a person cooperating with safety procedures. Now I knew where the problem was !!
Long Live CISF!!! 😉
