The 15th of July at Hyderabad Airport I bought a book of Paulo Coelho ‘The Devil and Miss Prym and only today did I complete it. Everyday night I continue reading it, in 4-5 pages I would go asleep. But today I was a bit determinant to complete for there lie a lot of books pending. The first part of the story I would say is a bit boring and gives the reader no idea of what the book is to say. And one needs real patience to pass the 60th page for it moves so slowly and without any message, not the one you can expect like in Alchemist. The flow is a bit slow but the story picks pace in the last 80 pages. Only in the end did I recognize the meaning of the book and the philosophy behind the incidents that can never be revealed without applying thought. The book is not as simple as The Alchemist, targeted for the average reader. The more deeper one thinks the more the book is valuable. The philosophy behind is something not new to me for I concluded long back. That good and evil are not discreet and the proposition in one decide how good he is, or may be my interpretation of the book was like.
