Veronica Decides to Die

I would search and put all the words on this earth that are synonymous to ‘Excellent’ to describe this book but still not convinced of my appreciation. ‘The Alchemist’ was my starter for Paulo Coelho but found none of the others that I followed to read worth that much. ‘The Devil and Miss Prym’ was total pulp and I’ve still not finished ‘The Witch of Portobello’.

I was not convinced to buy this book for the increasing expenditure on Books. But I had to keep my promise that I would spend the money I earned at the share market for my education.

I started to take notes on some good stuff (some mentioned below) I found it that book and later found lazy coz the book was full of them. Full of knowledge in each page (excluding some pages!). Apart from knowledge it has the ‘masala’ what an Indian would expect in movies.

I believe Coelho should be known for this book. The Alchemist seems no compare to this one.

‘You say they create their own reality’, said Veronica. ‘But what is reality.?’

‘It’s what the majority deems it to be. It’s not necessarily the best or the most logical, but it’s the one that has become adapted to the desires of society as a whole.’

‘I know the world will not recognize my efforts,’ he said to himself, proud of being misunderstood. After all, that was the price every genius had to pay.
